They were perfect for my 4 and 7 year olds who are obsessed with Monster High dolls but don't understand dollar amounts. They fooled my 4 year old, the 7 year old could tell something was wrong but still loves her. The clothes aren't necessarily the best, but we have other Monster High dolls that fit these clothes. In terms of durability, I found that the girls ripped the arms off the Black Widow type doll (it must have scared them) and it was very easy to put each arm back in, so I'd say they have a costume can take a beating and your heart won't stop thinking it's a $120 doll. They can be easily gifted to girls under 7 by taking them out of the cellophane wrapper and putting them in a lovely gift bag. They're great for any little girl begging for Monster High dolls, but you don't want to break the bank.
