Best cloth diaper I've found

I haven't used FuzziBunz or BumGenius which are CB's big competitors. But I've used Kawaii, Swaddlebees, Babyland, Alva and Thirsties and Charlie Banana blows them all out of the water. When I got my first CB in the mail I looked at it and thought ten bucks [thanks eBay!] this is never going to fit my kid.” It seemed like it would fit a barbie. But damn, it fits perfectly! It looks sparse, but it doesn't flow at all. The adjustable leg elastics can shrink to a ridiculously small size and there is a crossover closure - it fits over my fist with very little wiggle room and yet fits my 20 month old by a mile! I have never seen such universal size diapers. They're also very comfortable, don't leave my son's skin red marks, snap in and out easily without tugging on the fabric, and have a tough, durable PUL lining. (After several brands, it's easy to tell the difference, and CB is the best I've ever used.) Fleece is incredibly soft on my new ones - and stayed impressively soft for almost a month of use and washing. And the used one I bought on eBay is also very good and proves they hold up great. A few months ago I took off my diapers and accidentally overheated the covers of a seven pocket diaper. Six of these shells were destroyed. Who survived? Charlie! My only "complaint" isn't a real complaint: The bag opens in front of Charlie Banana. I don't understand that directly. It's absolutely no worse or better than bags that open at the back, but it's a huge argument for CB that I just don't get. If that's important to you, I think you should be aware of the front opening. But I don't see why that should matter. In any case. Charlie Bananas rocks. (And I might add, by the way, having the best name in the world. Who thought of that? Charlie Banana. It's kind of poetic.)

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • The list is long.
