It really works!: Cloth Diapers

Great product. Blisters are not a problem as they have an adjustable bra strap that is built into the diaper. Make sure you don't throw the outer diaper in the dryer as this will destroy its elasticity. Other than that, I love this product.

Non-absorbent: Cloth diapers

I thought I would LOVE cloth diapers because my first few weeks in Charlie Banana diapers were amazing - they even worked for us all night! Then, after 6-8 weeks of exclusively using Charlie Banana diapers, they started leaking every time my son had a wet diaper. You haven't been drinking! I was pissed off for fully following their instructions on their website - warm wash with eco friendly soap. After some research on the internet I came to the conclusion that there must be debris on ourโ€ฆ

Not worth the money after all

I used these diapers for about 18 months before destocking them and I have mixed feelings about them. The Good: When I first started using them they fit my long and skinny 6 month old very well, they were easy to adjust and the microfiber was quite absorbent. Bad: - The rubber strap wore out very quickly. I bought several FuzziBunz brand diapers at the same time and used both diapers the same way. FuzziBunz has lost no (or very little) elasticity. Most of my Charlie Bananas have all of the gumโ€ฆ

Pros

Cons
  • sad packaging

Charlie Banana Cloth Diapers are a great option for everyone, they really do fit any size and absorbency. They include a pocket-like shell with a soft, non-drying lining and a large front pocket. They contained 2 pads, both made of multiple layers of microfiber, covered with dry fleece on one side (so you can place the pad directly on the baby's bottom when you don't want to use the bag). Personally, I've always disliked microfiber, but it worked great for my 18-month-old. The internal liftโ€ฆ

Best cloth diaper I've found

I haven't used FuzziBunz or BumGenius which are CB's big competitors. But I've used Kawaii, Swaddlebees, Babyland, Alva and Thirsties and Charlie Banana blows them all out of the water. When I got my first CB in the mail I looked at it and thought ten bucks [thanks eBay!] this is never going to fit my kid.โ€ It seemed like it would fit a barbie. But damn, it fits perfectly! It looks sparse, but it doesn't flow at all. The adjustable leg elastics can shrink to a ridiculously small size and thereโ€ฆ

  • The list is long.

I don't like fleece. But overall a good diaper system

We have tried many cloth diapers, each has its pros and cons, there is no perfect system but Charlie Banana is definitely at the top of the list. The biggest advantage is that it's fully adjustable - you don't have to buy a new size every time your child grows. Also, this is the only suit I know of that wraps around the legs, which is very important. My biggest concern is that the fleece (synthetic fiber) touches the skin. Modern fleece is usually made from polyethylene and regardless of theโ€ฆ
