Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Fixed Lens - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Anand Lal ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

I repeat that many are sincerely deceived, expecting from him the versatility corresponding to 50mm in full frame. Unfortunately, he is already more of a "portrait painter". But indoors you can take pictures without a flash, the portraits are simply gorgeous (I'm not a pro, and I give a philistine assessment, just like the "consumers" of these pictures, also ordinary people, without any extra requests). Due to the fact that it is far from wide-angle, you can buy a filter for it inexpensively without chasing a thin frame. At this price, I think that he simply must be in the arsenal of every fan!

Pros
  • 1. Aperture. 2. Price 3. As it is not paradoxical, optical, I will not be afraid of this word, perfection. 4. Portraits "up to the chest" from him, well, in general, everyone likes it.
Cons
  • 1. Plasticity and fragility, this is not entirely a drawback. 2. Manual focus is inconvenient, backlash, and the stroke is small. 3. On the crop, this is no longer a "fifty kopeck", although many are sincerely deceived on this.
