The lamp arrived a few days ahead of schedule. I bought number 15 which shows a beige shade in the photo but the one I received is pure white although the pattern is the same. A little disappointed with the color. Also, there are no rubber or felt protectors on the "legs" of the base, it's bare metal that will scratch any wood surface. I attached felt pads to protect the bedside table. The kit includes two bulbs; The base of the bulbs is different from any type sold in North America (to my knowledge). I was hoping to use an LED bulb but I can't find such a base. Despite these minor complaints, this is still an attractive original lamp that looks great on my bedside table and is reasonably priced. 15. This white color annoyed me every time I looked at it. So I went to a craft store and bought some clear brown glass paint (Gallery Glass) and painted the center of the glass sphere hoping the lamp would look like it was originally intended. I also found out that the base of the lightbulb is called E14 and ordered an LED lightbulb from China. Now I have exactly the lamp I wanted. The photos show my decorated "new improved" lamp.
