Very handy for design purposes. I have purchased both the Beadalon and Beadsmith brand bracelet boards and love them. Although the Beadsmith tray has 5 bead compartments and the Beadalon has 4 bead compartments, the Beadsmith tray's two compartments are angled towards the back of the tray. This is inconvenient and destroys the corner edge of the tray. The Beadalon tray has a snap-on lid that cannot be seen through. The Beadsmith tray has a transparent lid so you can easily see what project you've been working on without having to open the lid.
