I wish I had taken photos before but I didn't because I really didn't think it would work that well but it did. My mother, who is in hospice, lived at my house and I let her smoke by the open window. Well she burned 2 small holes in my new section. She felt terrible and offered to buy us a new one. The furniture store said they could order us a new part from the burned department, but I figured I'd try it first before buying the new part, which was supposed to be $300. I'm very glad I did. To be honest, you can't even say there were ever burn holes. The results will likely depend on the type of damage and the material you are trying to repair. My material is microfiber and this material is perfect for him. The color match was almost exact. I just gradually mixed different colors until I felt it was pretty close. We'll see how it holds up over time, but I've got plenty left over from this set if I need to make it again.
