I bought several packages of these personal alarm clocks for myself, daughters, sister and mother (grandmother from 12 to 75 years old). All ages will find them very convenient and easy to use. The flashlight is surprisingly bright for such a small device. Alarm clocks are incredibly loud and shrill. We clipped them to our purses, belt loops, or just carried them with us when we went for walks alone (or in small groups). They are easy to turn on and off. Hopefully they'll never be needed, but I have a better sense of security (for me and my loved ones!). I think these would be great stocking fillers for anyone (male or female!) who has a habit of walking alone.
