About a week after purchasing these tweezers for 2 consecutive days I used 2 different tweezers to 1) remove a metal chip on the side of the nail which was painful. and 2) a wooden spike in the knuckle on the back of one of my fingers. Both fragments came out immediately and both sites healed perfectly. Small scissors are good too. So I gave the set to my daughter, who used one of the tweezers the very next day. Then I bought a set for my son's friend who I didn't like before this gift but now she loves it. For very little money I have satisfied 2 people + myself. What's not to like? Each of the 4 tweezers is slightly different to make it easier for you to access a splinter or whatever you need to remove from yourself or your loved ones!
