I thought my purchase was a bargain: a $23 water bladder with a cleaning kit. It might not be the best in the world, but if you're looking for something that works and don't mind losing it, this is a solid choice. Mine isn't leaking at all and the hose worked. The material of the chamber is made of lightweight yet durable rubber. I don't think it's that easy to pierce. The inner surface is very smooth, like glass. I think it will be easy to clean. Your customer service is AMAZING. wonderful people. Note. At the junction of the hose and mouthpiece is a plastic ring that slides up and down to block/unblock water flow. He's a bit stubborn at first, but give him a few shakes and he'll relax. He's not broken. And you have to bite the nozzle to get the water flow. Remember the top is open, folded over and secured with a plastic clip. *** Make sure you insert the white part of the clip BETWEEN the crease or it will slip off and the water will be everywhere (you will see when you get it and you will understand why I say that). It's good that the top is open for extremely easy cleaning (better than trying to uncover the filler cap), but that's another hole and may be an issue for some people. But as long as it doesn't leak in the crease, the clip will hold all the weight without slipping. I had my doubts about the open design, but it works. At best, it has the advantage that you can put your whole hand into it for a thorough cleaning. I'm actually considering getting another one as a replacement.
