Review on Optimized Motorcraft Blower Motor by Christopher Bates

This is a replacement fan motor for Crown Vics, Marauders, Grand Marquis and Town Cars. Works much better than my old one. It blows harder, quieter and has been working for a couple of weeks with no problems. I bought the car used so I can't tell if it's like new. The list doesn't really make it clear, but this part doesn't include anything other than a fan motor (unlike cheap fan motors that are compatible). If you are using this to replace a failed fan motor you will also need the following: - Fan impeller: this can be removed from the old motor - Fan gasket: it can be carefully removed from the old motor - Adaptor: there are two types of connectors for these fans , but there is only one type of Motorcraft parts. The solution is a short adapter. Official part "Motorcraft WT56853 Cable Set". It's expensive, so test the plugs before you install them, and if it turns out you really need an adapter, make sure you can get one from the dump.
