Review on INNOCN 26 Inch Ultrawide Screen Monitor: High Definition, Adaptive Sync, Split Screen, Height Adjustment, HDMI Compatibility by Jengger Kuso

Mixed feelings: my assessment

What I like about this monitor: • Everything is perfectly packaged, tight, secure, zero chance of damage. • USB-C cable included • Monitor can be used in landscape or portrait orientation • Quick and easy assembly • Once assembled, super easy to set up for use • Extremely durable looks; doesn't feel cheap • I like the tilt and swivel function of the monitor. What disappointed me: • My biggest concern is how thin the actual screen is (or how narrow if used vertically) • Decent image resolution but looks horribly far away on my 2017 iMac 5k • The physical OSD is a bit awkward to use navigate. As you can see, the pros outweigh the cons here. My biggest problem is the screen size. I guess I didn't know what 21:9 was, but it's ULTRAWIDE. The ratio is such that it appears physically wider than my 27-inch iMac, but at a fraction of the screen height (see images). It seems small and big at the same time, but I need more vertical screens. It fits next to two windows like a champ, but then everything seems flattened. Using it in vertical mode seems almost silly as I feel like I can see the side of a long web page, but I still have to scroll because the narrow width doesn't allow for much information to be displayed. I wish the resolution was higher as it looks downright grainy compared to the iMac's 5k resolution. This is a mixed review because I'm really torn. I don't play on this monitor so maybe I'm not the target audience for it. For now I'll keep using it as I find it handy to have a second screen for my iMac, but haven't decided yet if I'll keep it or end up selling it. I cannot fully recommend or recommend it to you. I hope my review helped you in your decision.
