I don't understand why some reviewers said they were smaller than expected. Did you read the description? Anyway, I bought these to use with ink pads and had mixed results. Because of the fine detail and relatively flat cut, they work better with softer ink pads. It takes a bit of experimentation to find the right print to get a clear impression without overinking. (I haven't tried them with markers or paint yet.) The only reason I gave them 4 start instead of 5 is because I wanted them to cut a little deeper; but i'm a bit picky. . .They arrived much quicker than I expected which is always a pleasure.
