These bumpers were purchased about 2 years ago and have worked very well. The black plastic was a nice little cosmetic change that still matched the Elite controller, they were easy to install and didn't require any part modifications (saws etc). -and-off), but I don't blame the product. I blame Microsoft's stupid design. These bumpers will crack due to the weak stress bridge design, so expect to stock up or invest in superglue. (I went the glue route.) I was planning on repurchasing these bumpers to replace the broken ones, but they doubled the price to $20. For the current price I can't recommend it. That's too expensive for a part that will fail 100% again in a few months. If the price drops again it's worth picking them up, but remember this part needs to be replaced, and often.
