These are needed to connect my computer to my 50" HD TV. Works great. Just make sure you know how long it will take before you buy it. Don't measure exactly. Make sure the tape measure is slack, as is the cable. If you just measure how far up the wall and how far from it you will be short. Also make sure you have some play from the back of the devices. You don't want them pulling while it's plugged in or it could loosen the entire assembly and ruin your TV or DVR. Just let him loose a little, that's all I'm saying. Don't buy 10 extra feet that you don't need, but make sure it's not too tight. or. Or buy 10 extra feet. Who knows? You may want to move the TV later. Or you can shift everything a foot to make room for something without loosening yourself. This is the cable you need. You just have to figure out how much you need now. :)
