I like the colors, they are bright and the Apple icon still glows from the bottom Definitely worth buying, the bottom of the case blocks the mechanism to unlock the screen securely hold angles. I assumed it was my laptop but removed the case to make sure it was correct, but I didn't realize it until a couple of weeks after receiving it so don't let that put you off the purchase: the case does dropped my laptop 3 times since i got it the case and my laptop and my laptop. the sleeve is in perfect shape the laptop lid stretches a lot and doesn't fit my laptop anymore but i really only use it when i know my hands are greasy or i eat next to the laptop
