Bought these for my Tim Holtz stamping platform. They came in a small container with foam in between each magnet. I read the instructions prior to trying to pull the magnets apart. I was very careful to keep the magnets separated. I took two magnets out and wrapped each one in some washi tape to protect them and was able to begin using them on my Tim holtz platform stamper immediately. They worked great and the price is unbeatable. The magnets are very strong. I had absolutely no difficulty with removing them from each other or the box. I Slid each magnet off as recommended. I kept the other magnets that I am not using stored in the container and in a safe place.
