I had to fly to the Netherlands for an unexpected trip to the hospital. I spent three weeks wandering around trying to get food for my husband, an apartment to stay in after he was released as he couldn't fly home immediately, or just a weekend trip to Belgium to visit friends . It's the perfect size for laptop and iPad, my travel bag fits snugly, a bottle of water fits snugly in the wide and tall side pockets, plenty of room for small items like chewing gum, glasses, charging cables, etc. I found it comfortable only when I'm on trains in Standing pushed because I knew my zips were up. The bag doesn't stick out much so you don't hit people when you walk by. It can be easily stowed under the airplane seat. I have gray and it's a nice neutral color that contrasts with the sea of black backpacks. I plan to buy one for each of my kids when we return to Europe for a really fun trip.
