Surprisingly clean for dustpans

I usually have nothing good to say about dustpans. I used to have a toilet scoop almost identical to this one that got sooooo dirty between each use and had a lot of disgusting stuff on it the whole time; I ended up throwing it away because one day it was just plain dirty and I couldn't even bear the thought of washing it. However, I am pleasantly surprised. This scoop gets a lot cleaner after each use, with little to no nasty residue sticking to it. The litter will of course still stick to it, especially if the litter was used by the cat just before I attempted to clean the box. But the level of cleanliness I get with this shovel is 100x better than my old shovel, and I even sprayed my old shovel with non-stick to achieve this. I bought the metal one because I change my garbage media quite often. , and many of the throws I test tend to be very difficult. I've recently started using clay spatulas and given how strongly this clay sticks to the bottom of the box like germ-ridden cement, a metal spoon was an absolute must. I've since switched to a much better clay litter that doesn't attempt to permanently stick to the box, but this scoop handled the old litter with amazing ease. I was able to use this shovel to wipe any gross cement residue off the sides and bottom of the box without breaking my back, and at the end of the job the shovel came out more or less clean. ? Not 100% but much more non-stick than other shovels. is it metal It's likely to hold heavy debris and cementitious debris without flexing. Is it good to remove cementitious deposits from the bottom of the box? Definitive. Conclusion: a good high-performance non-stick scoop. 10/10, might buy another one from this company if this one ever loses its non-stick properties.
