Review on π Enhanced Communication with Polycom SoundStation VTX1000 by Tonya Brooks
Too expensive. No PC interface. Bad sound.
I bought this item because it advertised a longer range over the Soundstation 2. Not only was the range not as good as the SS2 I had previously, there was significant echo and noise. In the end I returned it. Also, I found out the hard way that it is NOT compatible with their PC Connection Kit. The dealer I was referred to said I could use an aftermarket connector but right after that they stopped responding to my email. Polycom has been a leader for many years. Now they are resting on their laurels and their high prices. I will not buy a Polycom product again.
