The charger works very well, including charging the phone through a relatively thick case. Unfortunately, the charge indicator on the front of the charger is so bright that putting it on your nightstand disturbs your sleep. Of course, it would be nice if the charging indicator turned off about 30 seconds after you put your phone on it. I ended up taking the charger to my office and again using a cable to charge my phone directly until I found another wireless charging option for the bedroom.
