A plug that fits snugly can be beneficial in some situations but also problematic in others. It requires some effort to insert or remove, and over time it may damage the socket on the computer, radio, or other device; however, there is no chance that it will become dislodged on its own. Has some pros: Sufficiently long-lasting plastic casing, the presence of a hole for the rope, and a snug fit within the connector all contribute to this. Got cons: After a single (!) use as a LiveUSB, one of the flash drives was rendered inoperable. However, because it was replaced with a new one at the store, I can no longer take the chance of writing significant files to it. Even when only a little quantity of data is being written, it quickly becomes very hot. It's possible that this was the reason why the very first flash drive wasn't successful. It's possible that the entire batch was flawed. For a number of years, I utilized the same Cruzer Blade, albeit in black and red, and during that time, I did not experience any issues. Plastic used for the plug housing (shield).
