Vizio soundbars are praised by electronics experts and users for their price-performance ratio. As a brand, they are consistently rated as the "knockout" of their price range - this model is no exception. Although it claims to have internal subwoofers, it would be more accurate to say that it has speakers capable of reproducing bass better than you'd expect from a standalone soundbar, and that claim would be true. DO NOT THINK that this will offer the same depth and sound as a unit with a separate subwoofer as the speakers producing bass are not of the size or power to compete with a dedicated subwoofer. However, it performs "better than expected" even after reading rave reviews, offering a balanced sound and fill volume. In my opinion, the speaker delivers the perfect combination of quality sound and an enhanced viewing experience without ruining the relationship of your neighbors, roommates or roommates. It has several "modes" for music, films, etc., as well as individually adjustable stroke and basic settings. In my testing, it performed well on music (metal, hip-hop, classical) and movies (action/sci-fi), regardless of the internal "EQ" modes. It has a variety of connection options to get the sound from whatever devices you have. Problem. THIS IS A WALKING MODEL. The company has released a newer version of the speaker "2.1 (internal subwoofer)" with some improved features and design. The new version is unlikely to be much better than this one, but it's consistently more expensive. However, this device can be found at a large "reduced" price as its popularity wanes, but be aware that once it becomes "rare" the price will increase to more than its original retail value. This is a great time to buy one if you're on a budget or have a "ceiling" in your living space - refurbished and refurbished options are a great way to save money.
