It didn't work for me
The light didn't shine even though the device was correctly connected to the additional 12V line. I was only able to get a signal if I barely touched the antenna connector to the socket on the radio and gently held it there. When I plugged it in, just static. I ended up sticking magnets on the factory antenna cable, which improved reception a bit. Glad it worked for some.
