I had purchased 2 others, (different brands), returning both. Found this one. I love it! We have a somewhat traditional kitchen with some modern flair. This block blends perfectly.I really like the stainless steel base. It is less "clunky” looking than others. It’s also slightly lower, so it seems that it is more stable. I also like the walnut looking wood, it’s a little darker than others.Holds knives very well. Magnets are towards the top and middle, which makes sense, so it holds smaller knives too. I have a curved fillet knife with a relatively thin blade, the board had trouble holding it unless it was leaning against another handle. I figured it’s best to keep that one in the drawer.I definitely would buy this again.
