This was a great help in cleaning up dog hair, leaves, sand and dirt brought in by our two long haired dogs. In 5 minutes I can walk through the house and sweep everything up into a heap. Bought to keep dust off wooden floors under chairs and furniture. It's great for dust, but I use it every other day to keep floors clean of whatever dogs put on their fur. Easy to clean, just ride outside. I wish I had had this when my kids were little. Minor cons: - The telescopic handle doesn't always snap into place. It folds and needs to be reconfigured/fixed to the desired height. The pivot on the head is temporarily blocked. For example, when maneuvering to get behind a sofa or under a chair, the head may not turn sideways smoothly in tight spaces. By simply wiggling a little, the head will usually level itself as needed. These disadvantages are not real breakers that can be bought later.
