I bought them for the ability to connect both a smartphone and a computer. In general, this is a good device. Despite the lack of active noise cancellation, the device has noise isolation. I like to think of them as earbuds with small speakers. The quality and performance is no better than a pair of $50 JLAB wireless headphones, but it's the result of a preliminary trial. The pairing process is lengthy and requires downloading the JABRA software, be it an app or desktop/laptop software. JABRA headphones do not conveniently plug into a portable headphone charger. I would recommend adding small magnets to position the earbuds like the JLAB wireless earbuds. Update: After a month of use, I took off these 2 stars for the following reasons: 1) They are extremely uncomfortable to wear in the ear (feels like they are stretching my ear) 2) They slip out when first inserted become the ear. A powerful and strong "screwing" motion is required to secure them in the ear. 3) Be careful when switching between talking/listening to music on your computer and iPhone, the volume jumps to high volume momentarily. I almost blew my eardrum out. After I switched to connecting these headphones to just one device (my computer), this problem went away.
