Back for the second time - New lights

I love battery powered candles. I try to only buy those that have a flat plastic wick attached to the wire because I think they give off a more realistic flame/flicker than silicone. Most sellers do not describe the wick, so there may be a hit or miss when purchasing a new kit. They operate in candle mode, the light "flickers", and inside the battery pack is a tiny fan that blows gently over the battery. a flat wick/flame on the wire that moves/dances it. The light falls on the wick and this gives a very realistic flame. In light mode the light should not flicker and the fan should not move the flame/wick. It should have candle mode with movement, lighting mode as pure light. I bought a set, put all the batteries in and turned them on. In candle mode, the light in the candle flickers, but the flat flame doesn't move at all. In light mode, the candlelight does not flicker, but the fan turns on and the flame moves. I was hoping that the first set just wasn't wired properly. I made an exchange and Revane promptly sent out a new set. I took out a candle, put in the batteries and everything is the same. In candle mode, the flame is stationary. in easy mode he dances. This defeats the purpose of the light/candle modes. I'm so sad. I will also be returning this set.
