Reducing Pioneer magnetic albums to two sizes

I bought my first Pioneer magnetic photo album 44 years ago. Then I added 9 more albums over the years! Now I'm downsizing. It's not easy to fit 44 years of memories into 2 albums: one for my 44 year old son and one for us. With a hair dryer in hand and a sharp knife, I had to "unclip" the photos I wanted to keep when they got stuck. It works. Two new Pioneer albums with additional additions now feature the best of the best photos. Who needs to see their baby from all sides in the cot, in the bathtub or anywhere else? The same goes for any subject. So, scissors in hand, I cut the best photos into rounded cuts and stacked them on top of each other in my new albums. New books and pens seem stickier than a few years ago, so I laid out all the pages on Pioneer pages to throw away so I don't have to pry them off too often when I want to reposition the images. My son loved the "memory book" (the only physical gift we gave him for Christmas 2012) which took hours and days to complete. Now I have to finish the book in memory of my husband and I. There's nothing quite like having photos in your hands (no slides, no DVD, no computer). I told my husband, in case of a fire, grab photo albums --- now it gets easier ---- grab a photo album (singular). side and you don't have to fill pockets with photos.

Pros
  • High quality clear plastic strip that sticks to the sides and keeps photos secure
Cons
  • Crumpled
