No matter how hard I try, my watch will eventually get scratched. Plastic covers only protect the screen, which is important, but not the watch itself. I paid too much money for this watch to make it look terrible in professional situations. I was thrilled when I saw this "case" for the watch that wraps around the watch on both sides and reaches the bracelet from the top and bottom. FINALLY a case that protects ALL my watches. The touch screen works perfectly. And if water does get under the case, simply remove the case, wipe with a microfiber cloth, and give it a try. Just put the cover back on. No problem. Easy install (and reinstall).
