At the time of writing this review, this tablet was sold for $129. Some reviews here complain about the screen, but the hardware is excellent value for money. The screen might not have the highest resolution, but it's good enough for most media applications and it's bright. The lower resolution will likely only affect you when reading relatively small text. In general, the processing quality is very high for this price range. It's a thin, mostly metallic body that feels pretty solid in the hand. The problem with the tablet (and the reason I returned mine) is due to a limitation, imposed by the Samsung software. Samsung admitted that the "US variant" of their Galaxy tablets does not allow formatting SD cards as internal storage or moving apps to external storage. This means your app's storage is limited to the device's onboard storage. This tablet has 32GB of memory, but about 15 of that is occupied by the system, leaving you with only 17. That's just not enough for apps on a tablet bought in 2021. To be clear, this is not an Android limitation. or App Limit, this is a limitation set by Samsung. If you search online you can find tips from people (who probably don't have this tablet) telling you how to move some Android apps to an SD card, but this tip does not apply to this device. Even if the app developer has explicitly enabled the ability to move an app to external storage, and even if you've moved the same app to another Android device, it won't work here. Even enabling developer options or trying to use ADB to move apps will not solve this problem. Samsung offers a 64GB version of this tablet, which currently oscillates between a list price of $199 and a retail price of $149. If you're considering this tablet, I highly recommend spending the extra $20 and getting the more powerful model. It has twice the memory, but since the system reserved space doesn't change, actually go from 17GB for apps to 49GB for apps. This is much more convenient given the limitations of the SD card.
