A GREAT noise canceling microphone that can be used for a variety of applications including computers

This is a GREAT noise canceling microphone that can be used for a variety of purposes. It is widely used in the broadcasting industry. It uses a dynamic microphone element, which means there is no self-noise as there is no built-in preamp. Dynamic mics don't produce as much signal as condenser mics, so they need a good preamp or devices with dynamic mic preamps (i.e. higher gain). Dynamic microphones don't pick up loud sounds as easily and can handle a wider dynamic range than condenser microphones. I hope) and not what is around and behind. This makes it ideal for noisy environments. People say it's not for computer use, but that's only because it has an XLR jack and most computers have a 1/8" mini jack. There is an adapter for that, but an external USB audio interface is better, I used a Tascam US-366, a great combination.
