I LOVE it! Our garage is separate from the house - 15 concrete steps from the back door to the garage. Spring/Summer no problem, but October to early March is very dark and I always felt guilty leaving the garage door light on 13 hours a day. So I started taking a flashlight to light my way, but realized I had left the flashlight in the car and stepped back into the darkness. to keep it on until I lock the back door, and then I can quickly turn the light off with the remote once I'm in the garage. I no longer monitor flashlights and leave the lights on all night for just a few minutes of needed light. It works great for its intended purpose and is MUCH better than the motion-activated light I've tried before (which would light up whenever a dog or cat walked by, if there was a strong wind, etc.) - lights up when I do need it and how I need it!
