Review on ๐Ÿถ Furhaven XXL Orthopedic Dog Bed - Plush Faux Fur & Suede Lounger - Gray, Jumbo Plus (XX-Large) - Removable/Washable Cover by Robert Bigelow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't panic when you take it out of the packaging!

I've been buying Fur Haven beds for years for our pups and I highly recommend this specific orthopedic contour bed. Every single time we get one, our girls immediately want to lay on them. I'm convinced they put doggie crack in them somehow because the desire to lay on them is instant. I have smaller ones that are still in 100% perfect shape, not flattened, that are 5 years old. We finally took the leap and bought a big one. The covers are machine washable and they zip easy. We've had many sizes, from medium for a 50 lb dog to now the Jumbo Plus (pictured) for our 65 lb and 55 lb pups to share. As you can see from the pics, their combined 120 lbs does not even slightly flatten the foam - they are comfortably supported and they LOVE the contour edges to use as pillows. The jumbo plus is rated for 150lbs and I would agree with that rating as the max if you're buying it for a dog with arthritis or joint pain. I'm 190 lbs and when I lay on it, I feel close to the ground, so anything above 150 might be pushing it.Important - do not panic when you open the bed and it's flat as a pancake. Give it the full 48 recommended hours to re-inflate.If you have a bed chewer, this is not the bed for you. This is pricey and not made for aggressive chewers - it's main function is comfort. The cover is like a plush bed sheet.
