I like how it helps you understand your customer, their needs, wants, and expectations. It's not just about what they want but also why they are looking for something else. You can't do this without having an understanding of who is buying from you in the first place! The best part was being able to see where my weaknesses were so that I could work on them. There weren't any downsides. This helped me get better at knowing my customers and making sure we both got what we needed out of our relationship together.
