I spent over 2 days researching and comparing products and finally settled on this screen. I will cover various aspects of this monitor. This is a 1080p monitor with a 24-inch screen, which means a decent pixel density. It's difficult to see at arm's length, but you can still see individual pixels. The VA panel has great contrast. The response time is 3 milliseconds, which isn't bad for a VA, but don't compare that to the advertised 1ms response time you'll see on most screens, it's usually just a marketing gimmick. It's true 144Hz when using the port display, HDMI and DVI. DVI @ 144Hz is one of the main reasons I went with it. The brightness seemed too low at first, but I changed the brightness setting from 80 to 100 and I'm happy with that. The colors were pretty fresh out of the box, I didn't really need to change anything. No dead pixels at all, I'll update this review when they appear. The bezels aren't as thin as some of the newer monitors, but the newer ones have black bezels between the screen and the edge bezel anyway, so it ends up being about the same. The curvature feels comfortable and is easy to get used to.
