I would say it reduces glare a bit but use my device in direct sunlight? It's not that good at reducing glare. I counted 47 air bubbles after installing an anti-glare screen protector compatible with Mac Book Pro 15 inch model A1707 A1990. I haven't had to clean my screen since I got this protector. Before I put this on, I cleaned the screen daily. Apple designed the laptop screen to touch the keyboard when closed. I could see the keyboard keys on my screen so I had constant smudges and fingerprints prior to installation. Suggestion when installing, exactly the first 2 inches and tighten firmly, maybe this will reduce the bubbles. The instructions say: start at the top and work your way down. I went from right to left.
