Posting for my sister who uses them - light weight and waterproof. My sister always wears them when it rains or snows and they have no problem with water getting in. Just a pity these aren't the smallest shoes to pack in a travel suitcase so I have to carry them at the airport and not leave them. take up valuable space in hand luggage. The laces are a little short, but that's no reason to buy another brand/pair of shoes. When I went skiing I put these shoes on and wasn't afraid to walk in an icy/snowy parking lot. a lot with this shoe.
