Review on Quorum 196015 9 Windmill Galvanized Weathered by Liz Howard

When I first saw it I was completely mesmerized by this fan. Bought two of these for our new large porch screen. Everyone who sees them remarks how great they look, but that's where the praise ends. These fans rarely spin at high speed and the amount of air they move is barely noticeable. They have tiny little engines, and with so many wings and so many wingspans, they just can't move much air. They also seem to have some ambivalence issues every time I run them as they first turn around, stop, then turn forward, stop, maybe turn around one more time or two and then finally move. The wall control is a joke; Despite having multiple speed settings, if you run the fan at anything other than higher settings, it barely budges, much less pushes air. Very disappointed in these fans but I stuck with them. Two grand is a lot of money to spend on two fans that are mainly for beauty only.
