Review on 💡 6 Pack of Dimmable Halogen Equivalent LED Lights by Jim Chick

We bought these for use in GMLighting under cabinet kitchen lights which previously used a G9 xenon bulb. When we installed these, xenon was the only choice. They provided excellent lighting but were very hot, and the items in the upstairs cabinets had to be stored due to their meltability (chocolate chips were placed high up). Installed these LED lights today and they are excellent - fit well; easy installation; good lighting. The light is slightly whiter (less warm) (3000K) compared to Xenon (2900K), but close. The ONLY downside: our under-cabinet lights aren't actually dimmable, but they do have a high and low power switch on each light. There is an almost imperceptible flash from the lamps in low LED lighting - in fact I can only notice this if I slowly run my hand directly under the lamp. I think some people are more sensitive to this "strobe" effect - I wouldn't call it "flicker" because, as I said, it's almost invisible under most conditions. other lamps. When the lights are set to their normal (high) position they don't have this problem and work great. However, chocolate chips are more readily available now, which can be a different kind of problem. Overall, I recommend these as replacements for hotter, less efficient halogen or xenon bulbs, but it's a good idea to keep the packaging in case they don't work in your application.
