Pros: * Reasonable price * Easy installation with instructions from Apple (link in About This Mac menu where you can also check compatibility) * worked great, first try * shipped for free within a day * well packaged Cons: * no familiar brand recall Comments: Inexpensive ($70) way to improve the performance of a mid-2011 iMac that my mom replaced because it was "slow". She was only using 100GB of her 1TB hard drive... but RAM was still at 4GB, so I assumed RAM was the limiting factor Definitely back 8/2020 Addendum: Storage still works well and my sister's computer is still used for general computing tasks.
