I bought the more expensive Omix-ada because it's supposed to be better. I didn't want to replace anyone else.

I purchased this item in July 2015 and installed it in September 2015. I bought the more expensive Omix-ada because it's supposed to be the best product. I didn't want to replace another cracked manifold as it was very painful to remove. I've driven my Jeep about 2000 miles (all highways) since installing it. After driving 500km I started hearing an exhaust leak. So I checked/tightened all the bolts along the head and flange. Didn't fix it at all. Now the exhaust leak is very loud, embarrassing and getting louder every day. I'm pretty sure the collector is cracked. Omix-Ada offers a 5-year product guarantee. But because of the tight heat shield around the manifold, they have to remove it and they're investigating the cause of the failure. You cannot send photos of cracks as removing (breaking welds) on the heat shield will void the warranty. So now I'm trying to figure out how to ship this item and still use my daily driver. I'm not sure why Jeeps are prone to cracked exhaust manifolds, but I swear by Omix-ada if you're hoping to fix this problem.
