Western medicine would attribute the benefit to the exceptionally thin weave of the fiber

I have a serious chronic injury to my right ankle. Ankle after multiple surgical procedures for an open fracture and internal fixation of a severely displaced trimalleolar fracture 18 years ago. As a result, the pain is constant. The Copper Joint reduced pain significantly - from 6-8/10 to 2-3/10. This is a truly remarkable reduction in the pain scale. If I take my sleeve off at night, the pain level quickly jumps to an 8/10. As an emergency doctor, I don't really understand how this works. Western medicine would attribute the benefits to the exceptionally fine weave of the fiber, although the effects of copper are poorly understood. Traditional medicine attributes this effect mainly to a type of ion exchange or magnetic field interaction involving copper. It is true that for me woven supports without copper were not effective. The copper splice sleeve is certainly effective. I advise patients to try. As an ER doctor, I don't get a lot of feedback from patients (I see them in the ER and no patients after that). But I am convinced that it works. You have nothing to lose by trying it yourself. I will never be without him. Robert S Henry, MD
