No compression or support

I am disappointed with this product. I was expecting the braces to be similar to this one but much stronger. This is convenient because there is almost no substance in this article. It offers little support or compression. I appreciated the comfort and freedom of movement because it's like not wearing a corset. more like a nylon sock. Not what I wanted. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Pain relief long overdue

Bought, tried out for 2 days, then put on the other leg. The difference between not wearing and wearing is noticeable, which is why I bought a second one. My feet and ankles are a mess from 65 years of hard living, fractures, pronation, flat feet and ligament injuries. I've had orthotics in my shoes since 1995, but my ankles also need support. They help a lot. They seem durable but I will always wear socks over them to prevent damage and abrasion.

  • One year trial period

Major Major Major Go for chronic pain and swelling.

In 2009 my talus was fused using two 6 inch titanium screws and a bone graft from my knee. In 2015 I had the same injury again, along with nerve damage. I've had 3 nerve surgeries and a talar denial. I have constant swelling and pain in this area. My last resort is to get a spinal cord stimulator and I have a few tired and store bought Tjis to try. Let me tell you it helped me a lot, all my pain didn't go away but it helped dramatically. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I firmly believe I…

Copper compression footrest

I walk back and forth at work all day, so my legs hurt a lot if I sit for a while and then try to get up to walk. I bought this compression copper joint to wear for the worst ankle support. It helped a lot on the first day, but the next day I put the socks on the outside and not the inside of the sock because it cut into my skin a little the first day and was itchy like crazy. I wear 7 1/2" shoes so I took a medium size which fits well. If I had taken a larger size I don't think it would have…

Awesome Orthosis!: Orthotics, splints and supports

I have to give this ankle five stars because I'm amazed at how well it works for me. I slipped down the stairs at my house and sprained my ankle in April 2016 - went to the podiatrist, had an MRI, didn't break anything, just the tendons were inflamed from the fall. Been in therapy for a few months but nothing helped, wore a lace up corset and didn't help much. I bought extra braces from the target and didn't help either. The only thing that helped me was this bandage. I used to be afraid to go…

The quality and support the brace offers

This ankle brace is just what you need. I bought this brace for an ankle injury I sustained in a car accident. My wife saw a box of Revain and did what she does best. She opened my box, took out the braces and started using my braces. After a week she was very impressed with the quality and comfort. My wife is a TSA officer who is on her feet all day and rarely complains of ankle pain. She was very happy with the support the brace offered and I was a little glad she at least enjoyed it. In the…

Far better than traditional wraparound types

I've used a different ankle brace - a thicker one that's wrapped and Velcro available at the drugstore - but didn't like the feel of it and the amount of room she took (my shoes wouldn't fit him). I was skeptical about using something that flimsy and not sure what the "copper" braces were all about, but gave it a try after a physiotherapist friend recommended it. I don't know what's so special about this copper-infused material, but it's extremely comfortable, stretches well... Very supportive…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

I have a serious chronic injury to my right ankle. Ankle after multiple surgical procedures for an open fracture and internal fixation of a severely displaced trimalleolar fracture 18 years ago. As a result, the pain is constant. The Copper Joint reduced pain significantly - from 6-8/10 to 2-3/10. This is a truly remarkable reduction in the pain scale. If I take my sleeve off at night, the pain level quickly jumps to an 8/10. As an emergency doctor, I don't really understand how this works…
