Green shade is a somewhat dark sage, and I hate to describe it this way, but the earthy green of mold like bread might get--it's actually a lovely shade of green! I've yet to find a better deal on this ink anywhere else. The ink does seem to run out fairly quickly, but I do print at least a few things almost every day. So I can't really say that the capacity is awful. It lasts at least a month for me (usually). I have not had any issues with leakage or smearing from these cartridges (knock on wood). The plastic is very thin. It stains if the contents are anything but plain water.
