Review on Durable Outdoor-Ready 3D Printer Filament: SUNLU'S Heat And UV Resistant ASA Filament by Justin Cage

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works once you figure out your settings

Took some adjustments to get it to print right, but it did surprisingly well once I got the settings figured out. It seems the print process might be a bit sensitive to humidity, it did well in a closet or cabinet but there were issues with layer adhesion when printed on an open printer in a high-humidity room (70% humidity)

Pros
  • This filament is resistant to chemical damage, making it a great choice for applications that may come into contact with corrosive materials
Cons
  • ASA filament is heavier than other filaments, making it less ideal for appliances and models where weight is a factor
