"A Good Filament! " good for me

A Good Filament, And Really Hard!.In truth this is really a Good Filament, But it takes Patience an Planning to use well!.It has Real Potential but is a poor choice for New or say 'Casual Users!'.Now I read up on reviews and put bluntly ASA from any maker "can be difficult" to use.I decided to use SUNLU both as they make a Top Grade Product, An also have the best reviews.Now I examined earlier reviews carefully and the first good tip was this does not run hot too well!.OK the hardest Problem is

Works once you figure out your settings

Took some adjustments to get it to print right, but it did surprisingly well once I got the settings figured out. It seems the print process might be a bit sensitive to humidity, it did well in a closet or cabinet but there were issues with layer adhesion when printed on an open printer in a high-humidity room (70% humidity)

I didn't think this through

By all accounts, I have used Sunlu filaments before and have been quite pleased. However, I ordered this ASA not realizing I needed to vent my printer enclosure to the outside. I haven't done that yet, so I've not yet used this filament. However, based on my previous experience with Sunlu's PLA, I expect this to be of equal quality.

easy to print, no smell

I printed this one my ender 5, which already had a somewhat calibrated profile for ASA printing.the print surface is PEI and had a little bit of residual gluestick glue on it from when I printed ABS.the SUNLU ASA stuck to the build plate without a problem, in fact, I had to flex the plate a few times to get it to release fully.The print went beautifully, no sign of clogs, no filament variations - and maybe more importantly, no smell either!Sunlu has been a stable for affordable PLA, and resin…

A good filament. Adheres well.

This filament has good adhesion to the table, prints well in my printer and has made some great jet black parts for me. I have had no problems with this filament, so I am very happy with it. I am giving it 5 stars!

My new go to filament

Cut my teeth on PLA. Got burned a few times by ABS. Then I found ASA and it's now my go to filament.Easy to print. Strong, UV and heat resistant. Easy to sand.Just an all round great material.
