Consistent Failure in Bed Adhesion

The Khaki color PLA consistently produced massive failure in the first layer. I calibrated XYZ twice and performed first layer calibration 6 times. I attempted to print a small object four times, controlling nozzle temperature (200 vs 220) and bed temperature (55 vs. Disengaged), such that a combination of each was made. The prints failed each time despite calibration and despite conditions in which other brands performed without issue.I regret trying WYZworks filament and would not recommend…

Pros
  • worked great for me right out of the box.
Cons
  • May produce a lot of stringing and oozing during printing

More Opaque than Translucent

Item came well sealed in a thick bag with two desiccant bags. Material printed well on my Delta.Filament looks 'tiger striped' with areas of clear mixed with purple through length of spool NOT the only company or filament I've seen like this.I would say it's much closer to 'opaque' than translucent. Shade is nice though.It's.ok (3 star).but since a good purple is hard to find this (barely) reaches a 4 star.

Pros
  • Printed great, no complaints. Thin walled vases printed with this filament look especially beautiful.
Cons
  • May require more frequent filament changes or refills during longer prints

Unbelievable stuff!

I have tried more than 3 dozen different brands and types of 3D filaments in the last couple of years. And I have to say, this is by a huge margin, this is my favorite filament! I look forward to getting a bunch of their different colors to use. The khaki is my favorite, but the gray is also phenomenal! I haven't had a single problem with either color, and I'm on my third roll. It is very tough stuff indeed. Very happy with this brand!

Pros
  • Print quality wasn’t the best, but it was probably my settings. Very stringy
Cons
  • I bought carbon fiber PLA and it works perfect. Every other PLA Warps!

75% fail rate good for me

I bought the brown filament reel to print miniature terrain. The color complimented the desert yellow primer I intended to use, and I figured that if the primer missed any cracks the PLA would cover for me. The PLS came out exceptionally stringy and often failed to print past the first few layers. The extrusion motor only started having conniptions, making noises as it tried to move the filament forward, with this PLA. The kicker is that this PLA also gave me my first line break, necessitating…

Pros
  • Works good
Cons
  • May have inconsistent batch quality or production standards

Clogs the hotend, bringing my prints to a halt.

I got the maroon color to fulfill a customer order. The color itself is good, adheres to the build plate well (I only use PEI) and layer adhesion is good. Unfortunately the winding wasn’t that great and the filament itself was pretty brittle. It kept clogging the hotend of my printer, causing me to disassemble it twice. This never happens with the Overture filament I usually use, but this was the only maroon I could find.

Pros
  • I had to set my temperatures higher to get it to stick to the platform. But I had put new tape on it.
Cons
  • Purchase may require expensive shipping fees

Remarkably useful PLA with cool translucent effects

arrives Packaged in a plastic bag with descant packets. The bag was NOT 'evacuated', but the filament was fine. This translucent purple filament prints well, and gives a very unique effect in the print. In addition to being partly transparent, it also ends up with metallic 'flake' appearance due to the way the light hits the layers. I found that it prints best when hot (220c / 60c on the bed), I use .12 and .24 layer thicknesses typically. The filament prints moderately string-free at these…

Pros
  • The Filament is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring that your 3D printer will last for years to come
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain adhesives or coatings

Absolutely no florescence!

Bought this to make mailbox and house numbers hoping there would be some reflectiveness, from say headlights. Just doesn't happen. Numbers barely show on the black mailbox. Leaves me disappointed.

Pros
  • The Filament is perfect for creating models and prototypes, allowing you to test your designs before committing to a final product
Cons
  • May produce more static electricity or interference during printing

Not good product !: my feedback

I been treated, changing temperatures, I have in the hot end like in the bed and very difficult to work, I have had to buy another brand, very bad experience for me. I thought it was physical calibration or software, but with the same parameters use another filament and printing quality very different! Bad experience, sorry

Pros
  • The Filament is available in multiple color options, so you can choose the perfect shade for your project
Cons
  • May require specialized printing techniques or expertise to achieve desired results

Great Product - Easy to Use

I am new to 3D printing. So I really don't know what I'm doing. But this filament worked so well - and is so forgiving - it made me look like a Pro! I will be buying this product again.

Pros
  • Prints turned out just fine, Ender3 pro 205/60 - glass bed
Cons
  • May have limited availability or be out of stock frequently

Don't waste your money

Not a single good print can be had. Tried printing a benchy, would glob and throw out uneven layers randomly. Dimensional accuracy is way off when measured with caliper, sometimes off by .5mm. Swapped to a Polymaker filament on the same STL and had no issues. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap crappy filament.

Pros
  • The Filament is perfect for creating detailed and textured surfaces, perfect for creating unique and eye-catching designs
Cons
  • May require more frequent replacement of printer components

Every thing I order from WYZWorks over the last year A+

I have never once had a bad batch from this company. May be too brittle for some printing applications! I use an Anet A8 printer and never a single issue with WYZ.

Pros
  • I like the color and it print well.
Cons
  • May be too brittle for some printing applications

Will recommend best in my review

This is my first filament from this company and so far .No Tangling Issues. like other one's and that is a plus for me That's my review.

Pros
  • Consistent diameter, good bed adhesion and looks great on a model. I would definitely buy it again
Cons
  • May have a shorter shelf life than other filaments

Gets the job done: my feedback

The print quality is a bit iffy. I just can't stop it from forming small surface voids. Stringing is a nuisance, but that's pretty common for PLA, so do with that what you will. Adhesion is pretty standard, though there's some temperature warping at the recommended temps, I recommend using higher fan speeds. Accepts threaded inserts surprisingly well.

Pros
  • The Filament is versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications, from technology to fashion to art
Cons
  • May not be suitable for food contact or other sensitive applications

Great layer adhesion

Great layer adhesion, great accuracy, great bridging. This is one of my favorite filaments, I plan on using WYZworks until it fails me or I find something that's a better deal.

Pros
  • The Filament is perfect for creating intricate and detailed designs, thanks to its high level of accuracy
Cons
  • May require additional tools or accessories for proper use

Main issue is poor layer adhesion

Main issue is poor layer adhesion, easily peels even at the 200 degrees maximum recommended temp. Prints ok with a little more temp. No color change with temperature. Finished product mostly looks like light brown pla, staining might give it more of a "wood" look.

Pros
  • The Antique Rosy White color is timeless and classic, making it perfect for all kinds of 3D printing projects
Cons
  • May have a longer heating time or cooling time compared to other filaments

I ordered this in for a print project requested by a friend to match his favorite football team. It is color correct for the Oregon Beavers.lol Have run initial calibration tests, and it prints as it should. I like the fact that A. Rather than being loosely placed in the holes. the end of the filament has been bent at 90 degrees to lock the end in place. Also the is a section of filament strung between both sides to keep it from unraveling when the end piece is loose, and the spool has…

Pros
  • The Filament is perfect for creating intricate and detailed models, perfect for architects, engineers, and other technical professionals
Cons
  • May require more frequent maintenance and cleaning of the filament spool

Consistently fails prints

Clear blueFilament is absolutely gorgeous top look at, BUT after many failed attempts and changing of temps im about to give up trying to use it. Raised my temps by 30c on nozzle and bed and it's now sticking to the bed, but my supports keep failing consistently. I'm using tree supports with 3 wall layers, and they are still turning into stringy messes. Will update if i find a way to make it work.2 stars cause i love the color, comes out lighter than pictured and the transparency is nice to look

Pros
  • The WYZworks PLA Filament comes in a beautiful Antique Rosy White color, perfect for creating delicate and intricate designs
Cons
  • May not bond well with other materials or filaments

Translucent Yellow in my review

The Translucent Yellow looks absolutely NOTHING like the picture on here or the WTZworks website. It's more of a honey color. The spooling is one of the worst I have seen on all the different brands of filament I have bought over the past few years. I can't comment on the print quality yet because it arrived with the vacuumed sealed bag open so it's in my filament dryer for the next day.

Pros
  • The Filament is made with premium materials, ensuring that your 3D prints will be durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May have a higher carbon footprint or environmental impact than other filaments

Bad batch of black PLA

I've bought many reels of WYZworks 1.75mm PLA in a variety of colors and have been very pleased with them all till this last shipment. This was a reel of black 1.75mm PLA with batch number HE191AA1B. Every print is fragile and matte black regardless of print temperature. All the previous reels of black have produced strong and glossy results.

Pros
  • The Filament is easy to work with, making it perfect for beginners and experienced 3D printing enthusiasts alike
Cons
  • May have limited availability or selection of color options

Works well under the right settings.

Took some time to get the temperatures set correctly, but works well once it is there. In my case, extruder temp is 190C and the heated bed is set to 50C.

Pros
  • Good quality filament
Cons
  • May produce excessive fumes or odors during printing
