This is the worst filament I have ever used

This is the worst filament I have ever used. It is the only tpu that has caused clogs, and it has caused many. I have been through probably 15kg+ of other tpu, including other hatchbox colors, but this red specifically, is terrible. The first roll I purchased had extremely out of spec sections in the spool, which wouldnt even allow it through the tighter bowden tube that I like to run for flexibles. I thought that was the reason for the clogs at first, so I purchased another roll which seemed to

Pros
  • The Shore 95A hardness ensures that your prints will be strong and durable
Cons
  • Requires a lot of maintenance and cleaning

My new favorite filament!

My new favorite filament! This stuff is great in my stock Monoprice Maker Select, I had read reviews about it not feeding reliably in my machine but I followed everyones recommendation to keep the feed rate slow; so for me 23 mm/s and no problems with smooth prints and great bonding between layers! This easily bonds to print bed and removes cleanly once printed. I printed some strap brackets for my Osmo and have no worries about its ability to hold its shape. The tensile strength of this stuff…

Pros
  • The filament is resistant to UV radiation, making it perfect for outdoor applications
Cons
  • Does not hold fine details well

Like cooked spaghetti through a straw.

Feeding problems = none. Output quality = great. Satisfaction = high. I'm not sure why others have had issues with this stuff, but it came tightly sealed in its plastic bag inside a heavy duty box. Using it with a Bondtech extruder on a Rostock Max V2 Delta printer. Hatchbox filament has never let me down and this stuff is no exception.

Pros
  • Hatchbox TPU is as good as their PLA.. No problems with clogs or variances. Packed well and works great!
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other brands

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Prints great on my review.

Printing on an Ender 3 Pro with a SeemeCNC EZR Struder. The Hatchbox TPU works great, 215 degrees and 60 degree bed and it prints amazing. Hatchbox is very consistent in great printer filament, highly recommended. I just wish I had more colors.

Pros
  • The filament has a high level of transparency, making it perfect for printing clear objects
Cons
  • Poor resolution in prints

Meh. Sainsmart and esun are better products

Not the best stuff to print with, it's stringy and runny and greasy? If that can be a thing, but at least it's not as bad as overture tpu, nobody can get a good print out of that crap

Pros
  • The HATCHBOX Purple TPU 3D Printer Filament is perfect for printing objects that require a certain level of shock resistance
Cons
  • Limited mechanical properties

Great choice for TPU. The blue is a cool color

This TPU prints great on my Prusa mk3s. Just make sure to not set the extruder temp too high or you will get lots of stringing. 220 works for me

Pros
  • exactly what i asked for.
Cons
  • Requires high-temperature printing

Good quality in my review

This filament is nice and works fine, the only thing that I think was a problem that it kept a getting tangled on the spool when you print with it

Pros
  • The HATCHBOX Purple TPU 3D Printer Filament is perfect for printing objects that will be used in the medical industry
Cons
  • Limited applications for finished prints

Excellent Product on my review.

Wanted a product that would be pliable and strong enough to be used with my CNC system as hold down blocks. Works for that well.

Pros
  • 1 KG (approximately 2. 20 lbs. ) Spool
Cons
  • Breaks easily during printing

Great filament - my new review

This filament was really easy to print with. First print was successful although it wasn't a complex print. Very happy with with results and would recommend. I printed at 225 degrees with bed at 60 degrees.

Pros
  • The filament is compatible with a wide range of 3D printing software and tools
Cons
  • Sticky residue left on build surface

Great material for a great price

This is an amazing material. Prints very well and has a high surface hardness yet is flexible. Very impressed with the quality from Hatchbox. We've been able to replace several PLA printed parts with this to make the product lighter and stronger. Do note that TPU is very difficult to file/remove stringing and requires some tuning on the print settings.

Pros
  • The filament can be used to print objects that will be exposed to water, such as snorkeling gear and scuba masks
Cons
  • Prone to deformation during printing

Prints well with bowden on slow speed!

I was amazed that the every first print came up well using my default PLA settings. And it is on 3D-printer with bowden extruder (FlSun Kossel Delta). Sure you can't print with this as fast as with PLA if you printer using bowden tube. My settings were: 10.mm/s outer perimeter and 40 mm/s infill. It is also recommended to set up your extrusion value 5.10% above your normal setting. The part you see on my pictures were done using my regular PLA settings (210C nozzle, 70C bed - kapton tape on…

Pros
  • The filament can be used to print parts for aircraft and other space vehicles
Cons
  • Limited abrasion resistance

I could wait until I have spent a couple hours trying to dry it out in the oven, but in my opinion it shouldn't be necessary to do that BEFORE USING IT! I expect to be able to take a brand new spool out of its package and USE IT IMMEDIATELY! If it's gonna take extra handling, that should be divulged in the ad, and marked down accordingly!

Pros
  • Was some what pricey.
Cons
  • It’s ok

Easy to use and flexible

You took a bit to adjust my machine but so far it's working really good. NOW REMEMBER tpu is hydroscopic (likes absorbing water) so you have to dry it if you leave it out. I didn't dry it because it came out if the pack but it did have a little but of moisture. Next print after drying should be great.

Pros
  • The filament is easy to use and compatible with most 3D printers
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

Works very well: my feedback

It prints very clean and is durable material with good color, I would purchase again. Delivery was fast great price Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • The filament can be used to print phone cases, camera cases, and other similar objects
Cons
  • Weak in tension and compression

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Prints pretty good for my opinion

I've had a couple issues with some objects but I'm not sure its the filament that is at fault. Seems high enough quality. 5 stars until i find something to complain about

Pros
  • The HATCHBOX Purple TPU 3D Printer Filament is perfect for printing intricate and detailed objects
Cons
  • Not suitable for large prints

Works really well as others have said slowing down the print speed to about 50-60% of PLA speed (about 20-30mm/s) seems to help a lot to avoid under extrusion. I'm using a custom extruder bowden style but with the PTFE tube just slit on the side for the extruder gear to push the filament through so no problems with binding up really. I did have some clogging initially but was previously printing with Nylon so think it was just residual nylon in the nozzle and hot end, cleaned out the hot end…

Pros
  • The filament can be used to print objects that will be subjected to wear and tear, such as wheels and gears
Cons
  • Limited chemical resistance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very durable and easy to use!

I had never used a flexy filament in my printer, but it worked beautifully. And you can’t tear this stuff apart once printed. I tried to with a test piece and this stuff seems VERY durable

Pros
  • The filament is safe to use and does not emit harmful fumes or toxins during printing
Cons
  • Limited spool size

I was nervous about TPU

First time using TPU and now I wish I started earlier. I used the same settings as my PLA but I just slowed the printing down to about 30. Worked like a charm. Some people say you need to turn off retraction, but I didn't and it worked just fine.

Pros
  • What a great color and quality. I can't say enough about how well the prints come out.
Cons
  • Tangles and knots in spool

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great in Creality Ender 3 Pro

Works great compared to another blue roll I bought. This one has done really well. Good bright color, no washed out like some can be.

Pros
  • The HATCHBOX Purple TPU 3D Printer Filament is perfect for printing objects that will be used in the automotive industry
Cons
  • Limited flexibility compared to other filaments

Awesome Value - my new review

Great TPU filament for the price. Layer-to-layer adhesion is tricky to get right, but when your settings are nailed down it makes a great print.

Pros
  • This filament is resistant to oil, grease, and abrasion, making it perfect for use in industrial applications
Cons
  • Not suitable for functional prototypes
