I print the same gcode over and over, so I bought a sample spool from here to maybe get some savings in the long run. It comes out just fine, but can't handle simple mechanical loads. Now, obviously that depends on how hard you try and how many perimeters you print, orientation, etc, but let me tell you, a couple dollars less. I wasn't impressed. Great price for a good amount of PLA. I have only used it with a 3d printer pen, but it works wonderfully. The generous sample of different colors contained in the shipped product was an excellent touch and very much appreciated. I have already recommended this to a friend looking for filament, and I will certainly be buying again.

I purchased both black and wood-color and black PLA. I need to tweak the parameters a bit to get the black PLA to print the top layer a bit better. The rest of the print was as good as with other PLA that I have been using. The product was packaged well and not open as indicate by one reviewer. I will be ordering a couple of more colors at this price.

The material itself is good quality and extrudes beautifully when it extrudes. I am, unfortunately, having some issues with that. This filament has just jammed in my hotend for the second time. I was hoping the first time was a fluke since it was near the beginning of the spool, but when I measure the filament, it is 1.8 - 1.9 mm and it's actually getting stuck above the heat break because it's just too big to get through. I haven't even tried to print with this stuff yet and already the experience with it is so bad that I will never consider getting this brand of filament again.First, the filament arrive in a completely torn up ziplock type bag bag - every reputable brand arrives in vacuum sealed bags for a reason - in a box that was not even sealed properly and no desiccant. Ordered this filament a while back and am now getting around to printing with it. Unfortunately, with only about 1/5 of the roll used, I've now had two jams caused by out-of-round/oblong filament. In the one case I measured, it was 1.60mm on one axis and 1.97 on the perpendicular. Too bad too, it looked like it was extruding pretty well.I pulled off and discarded a few meters in each case, but not enough I guess as the two jams were pretty close together. Worst filament I've used. Constantly clogs the nozzle, even a brand new nozzle was clogged two hours into a print. Constant extrusion problems because of dimensional inconsistencies. Would not recommend buying.

The last two rolls of this that I purchased from Revain were supplied by GiODLCE and are NOT Melca black filament, which I am quite familiar with. This is my first filament purchase from Melca and I'm impressed. The +/- 0.03mm tolerance seems to be met, whenever I check the diameter with my calipers it's within the proper range, most of the time it's within 0.01mm. With the price of these rolls, if this level of quality is kept over the entire roll I will be a customer for a long time. Had problems on first print, but think I just needed to clean extruder tip. All my prints since have been good. Like this black its a good color for pla.

Wonderful product that shipped very fast. The quality is just as good as the roll of $30 PLA I have and I haven't had any problems with clogs or adhesion.

A friend and I were discussing a new brand of filament that showed up, We were dubious as to how good it could be considering the price point.I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by how it's turning out. I have only printed a couple of Benchies at this point (as is tradition) but I'm loving the quality I'm seeing!Seems to print best in the 180-185 range.Edit: added photos. It's my favorite PLA so far! No bubbles, no curling, no problems. Its a dark, solid black. So far I've used it to print the hilt of a sword and a bookstand. Would highly recommend :D

I bought this for my tronxy p802m and works great with it. Bed adhesion is never a problem. I have never had a jam. Layers stay together well.

I've used up probably 1.75 pounds of the real. The filament only broke once. There wasn't any snagging, it just got to a brittle point and broke. It is well wound and comes off the real nicely. Color is good. No other problems noted.

I was a little hesitant on this filament at first with how cheap it was, but that doesnt show to me. It prints nicely and the black doesnt turn grayish after printing like some filaments.
